Continuing my summative project, I accessed one of the world’s leading trend forecasting and analysis service to broaden my knowledge of my trend category; fringe. Within my course, I have the advantage of using the WGSN database.
Just some reports that I’ve gathered below:
One of the things that I’ve discovered is that fringe is very versatile: it appears both during the autumn/winter and even the summer/spring seasons. It can also be seen on several market levels, ranging from value and mass market (New Look, River Island, Mango etc) to more high end brands such as Givenchy, Valentino and Tom Ford.
